As adults, each of we four kids has had rescue cats, and my younger sister worked at the Humane Society Spay and Neuter Clinic and fostered cats. I'm glad you brought your two newest family members in from your yard. Your talkative cat reminds me of the two Siamese cats we had when we were growing up. They were always vocal. My last two, who I had in my SF condo, were—the vet thought—a Ragdoll and a Birman. They were chill, surfer-dude style cats. I appreciated their calm. Purring and happy vocalizations are more my jam. I look forward to more of these from you. I like the intimacy of the video form from online folks I haven't yet met in real life. Oh, and as to re-reading books? It's interesting how the same book seems like an entirely different book because we are at a different stage of life experience. In some cases the books reveal more and are more of a pleasure, in other cases, we have matured past them.
