I totally love imagining my alternative career as well and I can also imagine you doing all the alternative career you listed too - I think you are already an aspiring filmmaker, author, and designer. My alternative career would be an urban designer, landscape designer, or material designer probably because I've always been interested in learning urban landscapes in different cities in the world.

I'm not much of a daily fragrance wearer just because I'm a bit sensitive when it comes to it but I always love reading descriptions on fragrances. You have explained yours beautifully by the way. There's just something about fragrance that takes you to a place or moment. I enjoyed Diptyque's Geranium (single-scent) and Olene (Jasmine-scented) perfumes. I'm also very drawn to Jo Malone's Sea Salt and Wood Sage scent. I have to be honest, I have not tried a lot of perfume from the green beauty realm but I love the scents coming from May Lindstrom Skin as well. I find the scent in her products quite hypnotic and always with a touch of cocoa that I love. I remember there's this perfume which I TOTALLY FORGOT THE NAME, it has a hint of roses and cocoa it was done in such an elegant way, almost smelling like Turkish delight I'm pretty sure it was done by Maison Francis Kurkdjian but I don't see the packaging at all when I googled it - all I know it may not exist anymore :(.

I've been binge-watching Ratched too - I'm just down to the final episode. I lol-ed at Dita Von Tesse's Couch comments - that's part of design done right hahaha and Dakota Johnson's home is just my favorite! Btw, do you follow Nowness? I think they do one of the most absolutely stunning intimate architecture & interior documentary. All the videos are worth watching but below are some of my fav which I think you might also like!:

Asti, I loved reading your alternative careers. You would make an excellent urban, landscape, or material designer! I can't believe I have yet to experience anything Diptyque—candle or fragrance. But I love both geranium and jasmine scents, so I know where to start now thanks to you. I laughed aloud too at Dita's couch comment and agree, that's a design done right, haha! I love Dakota's home also. It feels so warm and cozy but with some standout pieces and colors. And I can't believe I don't follow Nowness; I've watched their videos forever too! I think it's because back then, I always watched them on their website and not on YouTube. Thank you for bringing it back into my life! I'm adding these to the list!

This makes me so happy to read, Trish! It would be a dream to pursue some of these. Now I just need to find the time, haha! I've been enjoying the Summer Lilac enfleurage so much. You should do more of them!
