Yay I'm so happy that you finally got to spend proper time with Twelve Beauty - I'm also smiling reading your thoughts on them. I love Pedro's formulation - it always feels ultra gentle, refined and effective (a rare combination!). I'm just in love with the textures of his products and how they apply on the skin! His products also remind me of the gentleness coming French pharmacy products! I always find it fascinating how products containing actives or "in-the-spotlight" ingredients these days like niancinamide and retinol play up with brands like Marie Veronique, Twelve Beauty or Yuli which also harness the full power of botanical as well while maintaining their green beauty integrity :)

Thank you for leading me to try Twelve Beauty. It was such a lovely experience; I'm still thinking about the Purifying Cream Cleanser and their Brightening Serum! The textures are so dreamy. And I never thought about it, but you're absolutely right! They are reminiscent of French pharmacy products! And yes! I love brands like Marie Veronique and Twelve Beauty. They still use actives and popular ingredients but are formulated with other botanicals to remain gentle but effective!
thanks for castor oil free note! im so sad i was allergic to the cleansing balm. why skin why? 🥺 but i tried a sample of the body oil and really enjoyed it! hope to try more of twelve beauty and ayla is for sure one of my most fave retailers
Oh no! Maybe it's the citrus peel oil or the bisabolol (found in essential oils)? I'm glad you enjoyed their body oil though, I haven't tried that one yet! Ayla's the best. I wish I lived in the area so: A. we would be closer, and B. we could wander around in there all day!

I'm in the same boat; my wishlist is continually growing! The brightening serum was a revelation! And I can't wait until I can get a full-size of the cream cleanser. Another thanks to Asti for putting that on my radar and Ayla for making that sample available!
